The Layered Landscape: Seeing Beyond the Subject with Steve Silk
Landscape photography often begins with something that catches the eye—a mountain catching the last light, a waterfall crashing onto rocks, a distant ridge beneath a changing sky. But finding the subject is only the beginning. What makes a photograph come alive is often everything happening around the main subject: the relationships between near and far, light and shadow, clarity and mystery. This presentation is about learning to see those relationships as layers.
