The title of this Photo was chosen as I often think successful photography is 40% skill and 60% right place/right time. This was taken in the Vancouver Art Gallery, where an installation called Black and White and Everything in Between: A Monochrome Journey, was on display. As a Fiber Enthusiast, I love color and texture. It often calls to me and sometimes consumes me. In this photo, "As Luck Would Have it", the subject, The Woman in Red, steps inside my composition, which creates color harmony and balance in a way that was so unexpected. As an added bonus, simultaneously we steadied ourselves, readjusted our focus for a final time, fine-tuned our composition and "shot" a perfect "As Luck Would Have It" photograph.
After process included the removal of a walking stick and door frame to create a clearer background
