The Ville de Semur-en-Auxois is a small village in Burgundy, France a few kilometers west the Dijon. It's a typical French hill town, dating from the middle-ages. Sited on a bend of the Armançon River, the town was fortified and played a role in the Hundred Years War. Now, part of the Appellation Côte-d'Or, it is surrounded by vinyards and farmlands.
