Photographed in August 2026 beneath Founders Bridge from the Hartford side of the Connecticut River, I framed the image tightly to isolate the repeating concrete arches and alternating bands of water, letting each successive arch frame the next and create depth. I chose monochrome to emphasize the structure's repetition, geometry, texture, and tonal progression.
