This is not a staged shot. I actually came across this rusted out wheel/tire leaning against a tree near the Farmington River this spring. I don't think the river ever got this high, but I suspect someone had found this wheel in a lower location and wheeled it up and leaned it against a tree. Regardless, I had to walk all the way back to my car to get my camera, as the scene was just too special to not record. I've walked that way multiple times since, and the wheel remains unmoved.
