Welcome to these new and newer members of the Simsbury Camera Club. This page is an attempt to help us get to know these individuals better and to welcome them to the fold. (I apologize for paraphrasing and abbreviating some of this information in the interest brevity)
Scott Ramsay
Experience Level: At it for a while and looking to improve. Introduced to photography in High School and continued through college in the analog days. More recently in the digital era caught the bug again with my first iPhone.
Current Equipment: iPhone is my constant companion camera. I do also lug around my
Canon R mirrorless cameras at most times.
Post Processing software: Fairly competent in Lightroom. Dabble with Snapseed.
Photographic interests: Travel and landscape are where I am happiest. I do have a few portrait and event personal projects underway.
Anna (Ania) Proczek
Experience Level: New to hobby
Current Equipment: Olympus camera
Post Processing software: Lightroom. At some point would like to learn Photoshop.
Photographic interests: Mostly nature
Jim Kahnweiler
Experience Level: Veteran photographer interested in learning more and in sharing what I know. I’ve been making pictures since I was eight years old. I’ve been involved in many areas of photography including photojournalism, portraits, architecture, and travel. For my last gig I was the director of photography for a small publishing company; I was responsible for photo research and prepress processing.

Experience Level: Although I’ve been taking photos here and there all my life for fun, I consider myself a novice. My joy comes from the journey of discovery, the development of new skills, and the boost in confidence that comes with capturing that moment you were looking for.
Current Equipment: I have an older DSLR. Specifically, a Nikon D3300. No special lenses, just the basics.
